This page contains information about reporting cybercrime or cyber incidents.

Individuals and organisations are targets for cybercrime and online scams.

By reporting, you will:

  • help stop other people from falling victim to the same issue
  • assist government and law enforcement agencies to disrupt cybercrime operations.

How to report

Report a cybersecurity incident or known cybercrime to the Australian Signals Directorate’s ReportCyber portal.

You can report to police via the the ReportCyber portal. Reports of cybercrime are shared by ASD to police.

Report scams to the National Anti-Scam Centre's Scamwatch website.

Report cyberbullying to the eSafety Commissioner who provides guidance on requests to remove images from social media.

Information provided on this site will refer to advice published by the Australian Signals Directorate (ASD) and their Australian Cyber Security Centre service as the lead Australian Government authority for technical advice, guidance and support.
