CyberNT leads cybersecurity services for the Northern Territory Government.

Our role includes to drive engagement with industry, business and the community on:

  • cyber awareness, preparedness and resilience
  • cybersecurity sector development.

We collaborate with Australian Government agencies, jurisdictions and industry about:

  • cyber strategy
  • policy and intergovernmental relations
  • cyber incident response
  • consequence management.

CyberNT is part of the Department of Corporate and Digital Development and is led by the government chief information security officer.

CyberNT comprises of 2 business units:

  • Cyber Security
  • Cyber Resilience.

Our services

CyberNT engages with the community, business and industry sectors and education partners to:

  • support cybersecurity awareness
  • enhance capability and preparedness
  • foster cybersecurity sector development.

Services to the NT Government include:

  • security and defence operations
  • cybersecurity advisory
  • cyber risk analysis
  • cyber governance and assurance
  • cybersecurity exercises
  • cybersecurity awareness
  • strategic policy and intergovernmental relations.

Cyber NT also leads cyber incident response for NT Government agencies and supports national cybersecurity incident coordination under the Australian Cyber Incident Management Arrangements. Services include:

  • cyber incident response
  • cyber consequence management coordination
  • strategic communications to support incident response.
